This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Taiwan had her presidential election yesterday. The election is now over, but with the narrow victory of the re-elected President Chen, the controversy will continue for a while.
Looking up the Googls news this afternoon, the election has been there as one of the 2 top stories for a while, which means the dispute is highly controversial.
The relected President Chen survived an assassinate within 24 hours of the election. When hearing it happened, I couldn't believe that the Island's politics could so rough.
This reminded me a joke. When a chairman of a NGO was visited by foreign human rights activists, he was explaining the current potilical situation. By mistakenly saying "they (the candidates) SUE each other", he said "they SHOOT each other", the foreign guests were quite shocked before the mistake was clarified. Although they don't really "shoot" each other, now it prooved that shooting could also be a part of the election campaign here.
Today there were riots across the country, for some supporters couldn't accept their candidate lost the election. The sentiments of the supporters are actually quite understandable, but I don't think as a competent major party leader and a competitive presidential candidate, the failed candidate should arouse the indignation of their supporters like the way they do.
I've been living on this Island for all my life. Being brought up in the time when the political and social transition were taking place (started in late 1970s and is still ongoing now) I got to witness the Island history. All I want and am working for is to make the world a peaceful and nicer place for everyone to live, and I have to start working on it from my own Island.
